So I’m back in Leicester for a short while after Glasto, where I had the huge pleasure of meeting Kevin Parker (the man who is Tame Impala) over pie and mash! The Stand Together: Leicester event yesterday was great, saw the amazing Grace Petrie and then played my first solo gig at The Soundhouse Leicester‘s open mic. night which was scary having to follow Homeless Shakespeare and Poetman, but really enjoyable! Check out Dead Question for today’s updates too!
Today, Dead Question confirmed we’re playing this! I haven’t gigged with Ash Mammal for over two years, and I can’t wait to share a stage with them once again! and Luke Broughton Music is damn beautiful, so this is very exiting… You can also catch us (acoustic) at the weekend at ArtBeat: Clarendon Park Community Arts Festival, its gonna be good!
Remember that article I wrote a couple of weeks ago? Well its through to the final six of the Rockhaq competition I entered it into! Also, Dead Question (acoustic) are playing ArtBeat: Clarendon Park Community Arts Festival on Sunday at 11am, followed by sets from Lippy, Matt Henshaw and all the other great talent that’ll be sure to be there!
No posts in a while means a fair few updates: Beth Morris Music and I will be playing Liane’s Songs 4 Ella on Saturday and Dead Question are in the final stages of recording our ALBUM! We hope to release it soon enough and I’ll let you know in plenty of time for that, I went to Riverside Festival yesterday and had an awesome time watching Oscar Prince, Elysian,Luke Broughton Music, Jesse Wright and The Moderators then at The Font Leicester watched Idle Empire and The Whisky Rebellion, lovely…
